1 do you have a probate lawyer? he/she should do it
2 look in the paper you r putting ad. usually some there
3 ask paper…they do it all the time and know how to do it

roguekg83, Life insurance covers lots of different things. Since I live in New York I'm not familiar with the Michigan regulations, so I suggest you call a local life insurance agent. http://www.easylifeinsuranceguide.com/Michigan-Life-Insurance.html They should be able to help you.

Life insurance payments are to be paid to the beneficiary not the estate unless directed by the owner of the policy.~

Why would you willingly get into a probate sale. PIA, it could take years to close. But, if you are into self torture an agent can give you a report.

It is a mistake to buy a house because of the reason it is being sold or because of how it is owned. Look at all the homes on the market and buy the one that is the best home for the price for you. Homes owned by an estate are almost always listed with a real estate agent and in the MLS. The same is true with foreclosures, divorces, job transfers, job losses, illness, and any other reason I can think of.
